Thank you so much for sharing this. Yes God is so so good! So glad you got home safely! My husband and I enjoy following you. We are retired and RV quite a bit. I am a Non-Hodgkin's Cancer survivor, and thank God for blessing me with remission!
My husband, who will also be 70 in August, purchased an RV in March 2022, and has taken us on many trips. In fact, in May of 2022 we went on a long trip from Florida up to Maine, and we stopped in the Cherry Hill Park campground you stayed at and suggested and caught the bus down to DC. It was a great trip and we are so grateful for your tips.
In any event, my husband and I live in Cape Coral Florida, and we are almost finished putting our house back together from Hurricane IAN. We were so sorry to read your blog regarding the demolition of your Fort Myers Beach home. If you are ever down this way again, perhaps my husband and I could meet you and your wife for lunch.

Finally, we are very much looking forward to your blog about your transatlantic experience on Holland America. We love HAL and are 4 star marineras. Anyway, God Bless you and keep your blogs coming.

Thanks, Guy. You're right about the long flight home. I've got some short RV trips planned for this summer, FL this fall, and then another transatlantic cruise with my wife next spring. I think my RVing days will be winding down. Its been 14+ yrs and I've seen much of what I wanted to see.

Dawg... glad to hear you got back safe. We've done the cross Atlantic a few times, always Cunard QM2, and I too have been super sick on board. It's not fun. The worst part is the flight back. Where are you going next ? We're headed to Scandanavia. We quit RVing. Traffic is horrible, drivers are dangerous. It's just not fun anymore. Keep traveling. Stay safe !
