My ebike is a 2020 Giant Explore model. It has the motor built into the crank, not on the wheel. I bought it at a bike shop. It is a Class 1 ebike – pedal assist only, no throttle. It has 5 levels of assist and 9 gears. I ride it like a regular bike. The motor just makes pedaling effortless. I usually ride in the 2 lowest levels on assist. Based on my riding, I get 50+ miles on a charge.

Hello Mr. Dawd,
Thanks for the update. Could give us some particulars about your dBike??
Such as: is it a conversion, where buy the front motorized wheel and a battery pack and controller??
Or did you buy a complete eBike? If so, could we have the name?
Any idea on battery life?

Bonita Springs winter was great this year, but different because of COVID. We will be heading to our lake home in Brainerd, MN for the summer season.

I need to check out an ebike.
