Robert,
Thanks for commenting. Three years is a long time to produce a weak floor. It's probably not a safety issue to warrant a recall, but it would have been nice to notify owners to be aware of a potential issue with the floor.

J. Dawg,

I had the same issue with my 2017 Winnebago View 24V. The soft spot was in the aisle running from the doorway to the sink. I was at the factory in April of this year to have the repairs made. The technicians and staff at the service center were professional and polite, but considering that this is a design issue, Winnebago should be pro-active and recall these vehicles.

J. Dawg,
Thanks for this great write-up! We too have this problem in our 13View and my wife keeps after me to go get it fixed. I think it will have to wait until Spring now as it's starting to get cold in Iowa and we can leave the DC area until early November. Also, we spent three or four days in FC Spring of 17 getting our refrigerator fixed and they did a top-notch job with that too. We like Iowa, Forest City, Bill's Grocery fried chicken, Pammel Park and the A&W there. Good to know about the Super 8 and car rental. Thanks again, Ed

Suzanne,
I was thinking about staying for the rally, but it meant staying a few more days in the area. I did stay over in Clear Lake SP for an extra day but needed a change after 5 days in Forest City. I agree that Winnebago does a great job servicing their customers.

Jane,
I have no idea if or when the issue was addressed in later year models.
