Thanks, Will. I wrote some blog posts about some of the problems I've had with my view. You can find them on my blog by searching in the Place and Topics for RV Problems. Here's a link to the articles. http://jdawgjourneys.com/category/about-rvs/rv-problems/

Great blog entry! Thanks! Seems like you wrote up a list of maintenance practices to keep the View happy and out of Mercedes Benz repair shops. Will you please link to that story here? That has been our biggest concern about the View, otherwise we love it. Thanks.

Down by the river in Salida is a nice place to hang out for an afternoon.

We were on northbound CR285 to Denver during the holidays, on a cold dark evening and took shelter at Poncha Springs right on the CR285. Altho I do not regret the stop under the circumstances, we explored Salida the following morning. It was all done up in nice festive preparations for the holidays! It was clean and everything looked inviting , but it was early with not much open and we moved on to our Denver destination.

Thanks for confirming this would be the place to stop next time we are heading to Denver this way, or I'll second your choice as using Salida as a replenishment stop.
